delete your account

from the app

1. open mahfah and go to your profile tab
2. scroll to the bottom and tap "delete account"
3. confirm twice (the deletion is permanent)
4. your account and all data are deleted immediately

what gets deleted

• your profile, photo, and username
• all lore you created
• all votes and judgments you made
• your aura score and badges
• all notifications
• your auth credentials

deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. lore about you (on your profile) is deleted with it. lore YOU submitted about other people stays on their profiles but is de-identified (your authorship is removed). reports you filed are kept for moderation history, also de-identified.

can't access the app?

if you can't log in or access the app, email us at nikita.akella13@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account. include your username if you remember it. we'll delete your account within 48 hours.

data retention

after deletion, your data is purged from our database immediately. cached data in CDNs may take up to 72 hours to expire. we do not retain backups of deleted accounts.
